The cost of a Vivint home security system ranges from $599 to $999 for equipment and installation. The monthly monitoring fee starts at about $40 per month. Every Vivint customer benefits from the 24/7 monitoring plan, 365 days a year. If you purchase your equipment upfront, your monthly payment will consist of the monitoring fee. If you choose to finance your equipment, you will have a payment for monitoring and a separate payment for the cost of your equipment. Vivint also includes a number of services and features at no additional charge, including professional installation and a 120-day warranty for your equipment. If any component of your system stops working due to installation or equipment defect, it will be replaced at no cost to you. And if your equipment needs repair or service under the warranty, Vivint’s licensed Smart Home Pros will come to your home to repair. You can control your entire smart home system from your top-rated Vivint smart home app. You’ll also receive notifications on your phone via the mobile app.

On Vivint.com, payments can be made online through the My Account portal. To make a payment, log in to My Account using the account's primary email address. Under the Bill Pay section, click the Make a Payment button. Enter the amount to pay and the payment method to use.
To add or change payment methods, under the Bill Pay section, click Update Payment Info. Here, new payment methods can be added or existing ones can be deleted or edited. Click Add New Account to enter new credit card or bank information. Select whether the new payment will be used for AutoPay using the check box. Click Add Account to finish.

Vivint.com Return Policy?
Vivint.com has a cancellation policy that is sensitive to unfortunate circumstances such as death, bankruptcy, transition to an assisted living home, or other extenuating circumstances. For cancellation, customers are advised to call 1-800-216-5232 for assistance. The circumstances which qualify for the consideration of the Exceptions Review Team require specific documentation. Calling in does not always result in being released from the Vivint agreement. The Exceptions Review Team handles claims on a case-by-case basis. If active duty military responsibilities are the reason for the decision to cancel Vivint services, there are specific military policies.
In terms of return, customers will be charged anywhere from $300 to the full price of the equipment if it is not returned to Vivint within 30 days of cancellation. Vivint will refund on a prorated basis if customers own a prepaid account after it deduces the charges and fees of the cancellation. Otherwise, customers must pay the contract in full to cancel it.
Regarding the shipping policy, Vivint Protection Plan customers are entitled to no additional cost for shipping on no-cost replacements for parts that do not require professional installation. This is part of the benefits during the Protection Plan Period. Other benefits include no additional cost for on-site repair service for professionally-installed System components, additional coverage for System components damaged due to power surges, priority routing on calls to Vivint customer service agents, and complimentary semi-annual System checks by Vivint.

To set up AutoPay on Vivint.com, follow these steps:
- Log in to My Account.
- Under the Bill Pay section, click Update Payment Info.
